APRIL 18, 2015 Matthews Buses Florida received the coveted Thomas Built Buses Presidents Club Award for 2014/15 at the Thomas Built Buses International Dealer Sales Meeting held in Washington DC at the Gaylord Resort. Matthews Buses Florida was one of only 24 distributors in the US and Canada to receive this award which recognizes superior performance in Sales, Service, Parts, Training and Customer Support. Ali Rampartab was also honored for the outstanding training he provides to the customers on behalf of TEAM Matthews. Matthews Buses Florida was highlighted in the opening remarks by Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Ken Hedgedcock, for its' unique use of mobile service trucks as a difference maker in the Florida Market place resulting in a swing from 17 percent market share prior to Matthews Buses arrival to Florida in 2008 to over 60 percent in 2014/15. ?We are so proud of all of our dealers this year for raising the bar and instilling continuous improvement into their dealerships,? said Caley Edgerly, President and CEO of Thomas Built Buses.
